Post 1: Y'all got any more of them degrees? / Keeping tabs

There comes a time for all doctors who majored in natural sciences to accept that their bachelor's degrees are worthless.
Okay, that's a little harsh. I loved my undergrad experience and it provided a foundation for who I am today. It definitely prepared me (as much as possible) for med school.
That being said, I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about how I wish I'd cultivated an additional skill instead of just taking more science classes. Specifically, I wish I'd studied computer science and/or Spanish. Oh well, hindsight 20/20 and all.
The good news is you never have to stop learning, and with a little masochism, anything is possible! Therefore I've decided to (eventually and slowly) work toward another bachelor's in computer science. Then maybe an MS in CS/AI. Reasons below.* This would all be while working full time (and definitely wouldn't start for a while since things are nuts and about to get nuts-er).
So, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with good, structured online CS courses to get started. My sum total of programming experience was 2 weeks at DigiPen and a semester of Java. And I guess a few years of self-taught HTML. So yeah, obviously my potential is just busting at the seams.
Definitely appreciate any recs in the free-to-cheap range since I have a family to feed and all that.
My timeline on this is "within 10 years," so I have time.
*Reasons 1. Video game design was my initial projected career until I decided I could wield the self-hatred to pursue a career in medicine. I still love my job and plan to do it for a long time but when I retire I'm going to move into a log cabin (super nice one doe, jacuzzi etc) and just make some video games til I croak. Seems like it would be pretty fun. 2. CS is like a whole mindset unto itself. I feel like becoming well-versed in it would allow me to look at problems differently and come up with novel solutions. Especially with AI and radiology. Maybe I can then sell some of those solutions to fund my jacuzzi log cabin studio retirement. 3. As you all know, I'm a huge nerd. 4. It's been an entire 3 years since I've been in school so ya boy is jonesin'. And yeah, this turned into my first blog post, because why not. I wrote this post for social media to see if any friends had some good ideas about this CS stuff. Then I figured I should try to keep tabs on stuff I write since it tends to reflect where I am in my life. This has been beneficial in the past for me in times of chaos. Yet, chaos is often the worst time to start such an endeavor, and the fruits don't often come until later. It also doesn't make much sense to only use writing as a tool when everything is going to hell in a hand basket, so I figured I'd just start writing now when (for the moment) things are pretty calm. I mostly want to keep a record of the things I'm thinking about over time and try to keep some perspective when things DO start swirling the drain---or at least seeming to, which happens from time to time even when the drain is just a perception. Often only in retrospect have I been able to discern the meaning of a period of events in my life. Main problem is I haven't typically been a good record-keeper. Time to try. Maybe someone will read and find it amusing, or more hopefully have something to share.
